1. General Overview
To improve the quality of life in rural areas by providing essential infrastructure, with a focus on all-weather road connectivity to habitations with a population above 250.
Focus Areas:
- Access to medical facilities during emergencies
- Transport of agricultural produce to markets
- Socio-economic development of rural communities
Key Activities (PRED):
- Providing all-weather (BT/CC) roads with necessary drainage works
- Upgrading Gravel/WBM roads to BT standards
- Reconstruction and maintenance of rural roads
- Construction of institutional buildings (MPP, ZPP, offices)
- Development of Gram Panchayat infrastructure including CC roads, Sachivalayams, RBKs, Wellness Centres, Digital Libraries, Milk Cooling Units, and Anganwadi Buildings under MGNREGS and other schemes
Abstract of MGNREGS Grant & PRR TSP Grant Works:-
Under various programmes including MGNREGS, PRR TSP, and other grants, a total of 376 works have been sanctioned in PRI Division, Paderu during the year 2025–2026, with an overall estimated cost of Rs. 31878.80 lakhs covering a total road length of 352.09 km.
Out of these:
- An expenditure of Rs. 8419.18 lakhs has been incurred so far.
- 44 works have been completed.
- 201 works are in progress.
- 131works are yet to be commenced.
