Core functions and responsibilities

  • To enroll every school age children ( 5+ to 14 Years children) in school across the district, to ensure that they do not drop out, and provide quality education to them.

  • If any village in the district has school-going children but does not have a school, or if that village needs a school, we will send proposals to the Commissioner of School Education for grant.

  • Conducting all examinations (FA,SA,) to students studying all schools irregular of all managements i.e. Govt./MPP/ZP/Tribal Welfare/ Gurukulam/KGBV/Private in accordance with the academic calendar including SSC Public examinations

 

  • Conducting in-service teacher training to all teachers working in all management schools(except private school) as per the instructions of the Commissioner of School Education/ State Project Director, Samagra Shksha.

  • Monitoring the teaching and Non-teaching employees attendance through LEAP app ( all managements) regularly.

  • Student Assistance Schemes: Continuous initiatives like Mid- day Meal Scheme (Dokka Seethamma), “Talliki Vandanam” and “Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyarthi Mithra” are being undertaken to support student welfare and encourage students of all management schools.

The District Educational Officer is also District Project Coordinator (Ex-Officio) to Samagra Shiksha.

The Additional Project Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha look after the Samagra Shiksha programs and activities in the district level coordination with DEO
