Innovative Initiatives / Best Practices
Excise Eye App:
Excise Eye is an application developed and launched on 29th August 2025 by Prohibition and Excise Department. It is designed to enhance monitoring and enforcement at A4 shops (Liquor shops) and to track the field activities of Excise officials.
A.P. Excise Suraksha App:
A.P. Excise Suraksha is an application developed and launched by Government of Andhra Pradesh on 12th October 2025 for Citizens, Licensees and Excise officials. This APP enables tracking of liquor sales across the state and ensures whether the liquor sold is genuine or spurious.
Digital Payments Provision at Liquor shops:
As per the instructions of Hon’ble Chief Minister, all liquor shops are now accepting digital payments through UPI, Credit Card and Debit cards. All shops are equipped with POS machines to facilitate seamless digital transactions.
